Support Alliance |

The Support Alliance consists of
professionals and businesses who have
pledged 10% (ten percent) of their net
earnings from Zoroastrian clients to the ZSO
Building Capital Campaign, for the purpose
of:
Building community unityIncrease wealth of the community
Provide on-going donations to the BCC
There is a vast amount of commerce within
the Zoroastrian community, in the form of
Transaction Commissions for Real Estate,
Insurance and Travel and Professional Fees
for accounting, legal and other services.
For a long time, there has been a
recognition that the overwhelming majority
of this commerce is not flowing through
Zoroastrian hands. Other communities have
made it a priority for their members to flow
their commerce through their own members.
The Support Alliance was formed to address
this shortcoming.

The Building Capital Campaign
The
Building Capital Campaign (BCC) Committee was
appointed by the ZSO Executive, in January 2002,
in response to the community's desire to enlarge
and refurbish our community centre, the MGDM
facility at its present location.
The MGDM has become synonymous with the
Zoroastrian Society of Ontario (ZSO) as the
official centre of activities. For over thirty
years, the centre has played host to all manner
of celebrations, occasions and events. Our
current centre is constantly in demand and is
not sufficient in size to meet the demands of
our growing community.
With the dedicated support of the community
members and our shared history of philanthropy,
our community's dream for a new MGDM will soon
become a reality. |
