Planning ahead is one of the greatest gifts you can give your loved ones.

The Zoroastrian Society of Ontario is pleased to invite members of our community to a Funeral Preplanning Information Seminar presented by Chapel Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Centre.

As part of our efforts to provide members with additional funeral service options, we recently met with Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, located at 8911 Woodbine Avenue in Markham and are pleased to announce that they have extended preferred pricing exclusively for Zoroastrian community members.

This seminar is designed to provide practical information about funeral preplanning in a respectful, informative, and pressure-free environment.

There will be a $10 charge, for each event.

If you are registering online, you will pay online. But, if you're giving your names to Ervad Hoshang Udwadia @ 416.499.4957, you will pay at the door.

The Children's Religion Class program is open to all Zoroastrian children age 6 years or older (born in 2020 or earlier). Our aim is to provide them with knowledge about our religion as well as to provide them with the opportunity to meet other Zoroastrian children.

Program Details:

Frequency: 1 - 2 Sundays per month from September, 2026 to June, 2027

Locations:

East End: Mehraban Guiv Darbe Mehr (North York, ON - ZSO)

West End: OZCF (Oakville, ON)

Note: Kanoun religion class is only available in the East End.

Class Timings:

East End: 2:45 pm - 5:00 pm

West End: 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Registration Fees:

Early Registration (on or before Sunday, August 3, 2025)

ZSO or OZCF members: $20 per child

Non-Members: $30 per child

Regular Registration (from Monday, August 4, 2025 and onwards)
ZSO or OZCF members: $30 per child
Non-Members: $40 per child
