My aunt worked at Fairview Mall for years at Simpsons. My sister went to Seneca nursing at Leslie and Sheppard. I thought of my family when I heard the news - the reason for this will be found.

Shahnaz touched everyone with selfless compassion, joy and laughter. Her connection with those she cared for with dementia was magical. I will always remember her infectious, often mischievous smile. May her light comfort and live on in our memories.

My heart is heavy. Yasmin was my childhood walking buddy and amazing friend. I had the privilege of meeting Mr. and Mrs. Pestonji many times and every single time I entered their home I could feel the warmth and love. Mrs. Pestonji had a stunning smile and incredible energy. My great friend Yasmin and her beautiful sister Dina have been blessed to have her smile, strength, positive energy and wonderful laugh. I'll never forget the undeniable and deepest sort of love I witnessed between Mr. and Mrs. Pestonji, it was a joy to be around. May Mrs.Pestonji rest in peace knowing that she made the world a better place and left wonderful people to carry her love onward. Yasmin, I look to the light with you and I'll love you forever.
